The Teenage Tutor Sponsors Tonbridge Juddians RFC

We are pleased to share a small but meaningful step in our community work. The Teenage Tutor has provided new shirts for the Tonbridge Juddians Rugby Club academy, and our logo now appears on the kit!

This partnership feels close to home. Our Deputy Head Tutor, Kieran Duncan, plays for the TJs Under-18 side and will wear these new shirts in the National Cup Final this Sunday. Kieran has benefited from older players guiding younger ones, which mirrors how our tutors support their students.

We chose to support TJs because their approach matches our own. The club pairs experienced players with juniors, fostering mentorship on the pitch just as we do in the classroom. Both our organisations started in Kent and remain rooted in the local community, and each aims to build more than technical skills. Rugby encourages discipline, teamwork and problem solving, while tutoring strengthens academic confidence and resilience. Together, we help young people grow in ways that matter beyond exams or matches.

We will be cheering for Kieran and the whole under-18 squad this weekend. Whatever the result, we are proud to stand alongside a club that values older children helping younger ones, on the pitch and beyond!

Good luck, TJs!!
