Matilda Stepek

Matilda studied Chemistry at the University of Liverpool and has been tutoring with us since 2021. She enjoys helping students reach their ‘a-ha’ moment and enjoy their subjects more. Alongside tutoring, she is a published writer, having won the HG Wells short story competition and the Stephen Spender poetry translation prize, and has completed research internships in emerging battery and pollution control technologies. She aspires to work as a materials chemist in maritime and aerospace applications.
